Congratulations to Dara Calleary on his appointment as Minister of State for Trade Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment in Ireland on 31 August 2022. Dara Calleary joined PACE in January 2021 and has been an active member of the liberal group and the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy.
Olivier Becht joined the French government as Minister delegate for Foreign Trade, Economic Attractiveness and French Nationals Abroad, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs in July. Olivier Becht has been a member of PACE since 2017 and served as the Chair of the Chair of the Committee on Culture, Science, Education and Media in 2022-2022 and as the first Vice-Chair of the Committee on the Election of Judges to the European Court of Human Rights.
