During his working visit to Strasbourg, Rik Daems met with the President of the European Parliament David Sassoli and the Renew Europe group. Addressing the liberals, Rik Daems presented the work done by the Council of Europe and encouraged more synergies between the European Parliament and PACE to advance human rights, the rule of law and democracy on the European continent.
