PACE monitoring procedure: ALDE co-rapporteur Eerik Kross to visti Hungary

Eerik-Niiles Kross (Estonia, ALDE) together with George Papandreou (Greece, SOC), PACE co-rapporteurs for the honouring of Council of Europe obligations and commitments by Hungary, are to make a fact-finding visit to the country from 18-20 November.

Hungary is one of ten countries currently subject to the full monitoring procedure of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. The next plenary debate on the monitoring of Hungary is due in the second half of 2025.
