All the persons directly responsible for and participating in the persecution and ill-treatment of Vladimir Kara-Murza should be included in targeted sanctions lists, established under the “Magnitsky laws”. The list of these individuals, including prison staff, police officers, prosecutors and judges – involved in the abuse of the Russian justice system for the purpose of silencing Mr Kara-Murza – appears in the resolution adopted by PACE, on the basis of the report prepared by ALDE-PACE Vice-President Eerik-Niils Kross (Estonia).
