Co-rapporteur on Georgia Sabina Ćudić condemns growing crackdown on political dissent in the country

The PACE co-rapporteurs for the monitoring of Georgia, Sabina Ćudić (Bosnia and Herzegovina, ALDE) and Edite Estrela (Portugal, SOC), have issued a new warning over the ongoing crackdown on political dissent in the country.

“This ongoing crackdown is only exacerbating the social and political crisis in Georgia and moves the country further away from honouring its obligations as a member of the Council of Europe,” the two co-rapporteurs said.
