ALDE-PACE met in Strasbourg on the occasion of the autumn part-session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, 29 September – 3 October 2025. This was an eventful session for ALDE-PACE, featuring ten reports in the plenary, two initiatives for debate under special procedure, and a side event with young liberals from IFLRY. We focused on strengthening democratic security amid the Russian threat, advancing accountability and justice for Ukraine, and addressing democratic backsliding in Georgia, Hungary, Slovakia, and Serbia.
